Townhaus, Duplex, Quadrochaus: Trends in suburban real estate

The development of the country’s country’s market continues to enrich our dictionary with new borrowings from English. We are already used to Townhaus, but what is the difference from it Duplex and Quadrohaus?

Everything is clear here: Duplex is a Townhouse for two families, that is, two sections united in a single block, and each of them has its own individual architectural features under the common roof, a separate entrance, a separate section.

Quadhaus, in turn, consists of four sections. The quadrochaus section is more expensive than in Townhouse, but cheaper than in the Duplex. Duplexes as suburban real estate are very in demand on the domestic market. They are especially convenient for families consisting of several generations and having many children: then children, having created their own family, continue to live nearby, but not with their parents.

Today is not one cottage village, but Moscow Region offers duplexes. If the duplex acquire families who are friends with each other, they often unite their land plots and receive a very significant territory where you can arrange a common recreation area with a playground, arbors and even a pool.

Despite the higher cost, many buyers are trying today to buy duplexes, not towhouses, thanks to a higher level of comfort and greater proximity to nature. Still, the towhouses are too reminiscent of urban housing.

Many people consider Duplex perhaps an ideal option for suburban housing for a large family of three generations. On the one hand, elderly parents can always count on the help of their adult children, and on the other hand, grandchildren will always be under supervision.

Quadrochaus involves a larger structure, divided into four owners, and again each part of the house can have its own architectural planning features. Each family has a plot in a quarter of the surrounding area, its own garage, etc. D.

The withdrawal of new types of real estate to the market of suburban housing, of course, expands the possibilities of choosing for customers, but do not forget about the infrastructure.
