Architects Berg Arkitektkontor and Moller Architects decided to decorate the area of the city of Stockholm Norra Djurgaardsstade Ecological Townhouse ensemble. On the territory where a loaded noisy port was once located, an environmentally friendly residential complex will be built, which will consist of eighteen buildings.
Townhouse plan to be placed near the building of the former gas plant. Built from it, the complex of houses will be sent to the National Park of Stockholm and even reach Husarviken waters.
The architecture of the facades of buildings reminds of pipelines and old brick gas tankers standing nearby, but is transmitted in a more energetic and modern language. Any of the buildings consists of two to three modules advanced forward. They place multi -level apartments with huge windows and terraces, from which views of fantastic beauty on the coast are revealed.
The designers of this area set themselves the task of creating buildings that will also be adapted under the presentness of 2030, when fossil fuel is no longer used. They hoped that the average annual energy consumption would not exceed 55 kW / m² / year.
It is possible to achieve such small expenses of electricity through the formation of the possibility of energy support of houses. Architects made everything in their power, so that this opportunity could be realized. They missed natural light as much as possible, as a result, people will not have to use additional energy -consuming lamps. Installed a rainwater collection system that converts CO2. As well as creating convenient conditions for the formation of a rich fauna and flora on green roofs planted by mosses and herbs. The designers also provided for the installation of solar panels to modify the energy of the Sun in the source of electricity and heat.
