The social program of the President of Ukraine to provide the population with social housing can be performed with a great delay, which will put it under the jeopardy. The reason for this was the delay in the State Certificate of funds to build houses. This information was reported by representatives of the confederation of builders of Ukraine. The direct implementers of the program for the construction of social housing are disturbed by today’s situation in this area. Both in the capital and in the regions, construction projects do not receive funding. Confederation decided to seek help from the authorities. The Board of Directors of the Confederation put forward a request to ensure the full financing of the program for 2013 if the government wants new buildings to be handed over on time. The Board of Directors suspect that payments under the program for building affordable housing are delayed by the State Treasury Service of Ukraine, namely its territorial bodies. Payments adhere to a rather long time before the addressee falls. Builders want to receive finances in a timely manner, which is quite legal. The implementation of the project for the construction of social housing is important for the President of Ukraine. This will allow the population not to lose confidence in state programs and increase the authority of the government. Therefore, developers hope that the problem with the lack of financing of the social project will be resolved as soon as possible. The Confederation of Builders of Ukraine sent a letter to the Prime Minister with a request that payments come without delay.
