The article evaluates the advantages and disadvantages of Townhouse compared to a city apartment and an individual cottage.
Townhouse is a great compromise for those who do not want to live in an apartment building, but cannot afford an individual cottage. They look like small one, two or three-story houses and are designed for several families. Moreover, each family has its own entrance, a small personal plot and garage, which is located in the basement of the house. The area of apartments, although inferior to the area of separate cottages, but in any case exceeds the size of standard city apartments.
The advantages of Townhouse, compared to a city apartment, include the following:- the presence of a small but personal plot of land near the house on which you can put a gazebo, a small children’s pool, a swing or just planting flowers;- in most cases, the towerhas are located outside the city in the distance from industrial enterprises and roads with harmful emissions;- the apartment in Townhouse is constantly under guard, and none of the outsiders has the opportunity to enter the territory of the site;- the car can be put not only in the garage, but also near the house and not worry about its safety.
The disadvantages of Townhouse compared to a city apartment include the fact that the purchase and maintenance of a standard apartment in the city will cost much cheaper. Townhaus owners have to pay large utility bills and other contributions, thanks to which life outside the city is much more comfortable.
In comparison with individual cottages, it can be noted that the Townhaus is more affordable in cost and its further maintenance. And the disadvantages in this comparison include the fact that the area of the apartment and the site is much less, which, on the other hand, saves time and effort to clean and care. As well as the fact that in Townhouse you live next to the neighbors with whom you have to reckon in one way or another. Therefore, some general issues, such as repair, cleaning of the common territory, have to be resolved collectively.
Choose a townhouse, a city apartment or a cottage – to solve only you. Only first you need to carefully weigh all the advantages and disadvantages of your future housing.
